Enterprise 2.0 Conference in San Francisco

by Mario Gastaldi on 21 August 2009

First thing be as nice as you can, and vote for me: page 2, “The Emergence of an Enterprise 2.0 Culture“, the 13th topic with the yellow background.

Here some explanation.
Next November, from the 2nd to the 5th, Enterprise 2.0 Conference will take place in San Francisco.
It is one of the most meaningful events related to social technologies, (web 2.0 and enterprise 2.0) in organizations.
As usual, the Conference Organization is looking for speakers who are going to present interesting sessions and workshops.
I have a specific focus on collaboration in organizations, and I have a strong technological awareness; most of all I study models related to the evolution of culture within Organizations.
I presented a paper and offered to do a workshop.
Mi proposal is in the list, and I could be a speaker in San Francisco, in a few weeks; but if I will be one, it will be thanks to your help.
So I am here asking you a vote.
Thanks very much.
Here the details as to my session.

The Emergence of an Enterprise 2.0 Culture – Culture in an Organization is not something you decide to change and then it changes. Culture is emergent and belongs to the people within the organization. Facilitated “Organizational Reflections” activate meaningful changes that allow for the emergence of the natural inclination to collaborate that characterizes human beings. When culture is the outcome of such an emergent process, an organization experiences some high level results: Engagement; Energy; Collaboration; Collective Intelligence; Performance. We will learn how culture is not a passive object, but it is an alive, active source of inspiration. People reflecting together do change together.
